Robert Half Technology's client in Aurora, CO is looking for a VistA (VA-specific EMR tool) for a 6+ month contract. All positions require direct, hands on experience with analysis of and documentation of technical and functional requirements for enhancement of VA VistA software. All candidates must possess or have the ability to:
- Meet deadlines and project goals - Prioritize responsibilities and work independently - Proven ability to develop and document Business/Functional Requirements - Ability to work in large integrated teams working across business and technology departments and bridging the gap between business and technology - Ability to produce requirements documentation using Standard MS Office Tools. - Ability to work effectively as a member of a large integrated virtual team - Develop and document technical solutions from business requirements - Work across departments within the VA organization to clarify requirements and meet stakeholder needs - Adhere to VA Software Development Lifecycle requirements and processes - Evaluate and understand VA Vista Architecture and VistA Revenue Cycle and develop technical solutions in legacy MUMPS and FileMan
The candidate will conduct analysis and document functional, business, and technical requirements for enhancements to complex VistA Financial management systems. Candidate must be proficient in MS office products such as Visio, Word, and Excel Candidate must have the ability to model business processes and document functional requirements from business requirements and under technical constraints. Knowledge of VA VistA financial packages and supporting packages such as the following is preferred: VistA AR, IB, Fee, and other financial packages and/or experience/knowledge of HIPAA EDI transactions X12 270/271, 837/835, NCPDP. Work Experience and Education Years of Work Experience Required: 10 Highest Education Level Required: Associates or relevant experience
