We are currently seeking an organized professional to step into the key role of Project Manager to be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects.
Position Overview:
The Project Manager is an integral part of the operations team and is responsible for managing tasks and coordinating personnel and other resources that are required to make various enterprise-wide projects successful. This position is critical in ensuring that both technical and business objectives mesh to produce effective systems. Obtaining critical input from senior management as well as end users is vitally important in managing the work of the team. To be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. The position reports directly to the CEO and is highly visible.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and implementation of projects
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
Define project tasks and resource requirements
Coordination of meetings with providers, and UFCW Trust teams representing the business requirements.
Coordinate estimates for process system improvements for Vitech (ERP vendor) with the Trust.
Capture EDI data requirements with providers from the business requirements to ensure mapping is correct for in-house system.
Responsible to ensure accurate invoices from providers, vendors and Vitech systems.
Facilitate meetings to ensure timeliness and efficiencies with providers, vendors and systems personnel.
Understand and interpret contract language to ensure seamless interface from vendors and providers to the Trust and systems.
Create and execute project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
Effectively apply best practice methodologies and enforce project quality assurance standards through continuous team deliverables review.
Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
Minimize exposure and risk on project.
Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
Report progress to senior management, and detail issues, or problems with target deadlines
Qualifications:
Strong project management experience
Exceptional communication skills
Ability to present themselves and their projects professionally in front of leadership teams
Have a track record of proven results while managing multiple priorities.
Produced database designs for large, complex systems
Understands Web-based technologies and programming.
Ability to write business requirements and specifications to interface with providers and IT Department.
Must understand workflow concepts and process improvement initiatives
Must have a working knowledge and planning of MS Project and detailed understanding of all other Windows Office Suite products
Experience with HIPAA including 834 and 837 EDI transactions
Health Care industries and union structure, practices and/or knowledge a plus
Minimum of a BS degree, preferably PMP, MBS or MBA
