Sales Manager Technology Services and Solutions

DMS Technology is a growth oriented IT Solutions and Services provider located in NYC, with a focus in financial services clients. Founded by a seasoned leader with over 20 years industry experience who came up through the sales track to senior management, DMS has grown even in these tough economic times by focusing on its services core value to its customers. The Company is poised to build on the momentum of the last eighteen months by adding a Sales Manager to its team.

This position will include defining client needs through product knowledge and positioning, and involves working with our Sales Engineers in the architecting of new solutions and Project Managers in solution delivery. Responsibilities include identifying, forecasting and attaining sales objectives by providing technology based solutions.

Overall internal and external relationship management and the ability to coordinate required resources to respond to complex IT requirements and sales objectives is a necessity. Other requirements include facilitating ongoing sales training and attaining and maintaining manufacturer certifications for the sales team, developing and maintaining relationships with client and vendor contacts, and preparing and presenting detailed quotes and proposals as needed.


Requirements:

MUST HAVE Minimum 3 years Industry experience (direct selling of outsourced IT infrastructure product solutions and related professional and managed services - servers to desktops and everything in between).

Experience in both face to face and telephone sales models

Excellent knowledge of business office technical environments (VoIP a plus on top of data stack)

Strong interpersonal skills required to effectively communicate with staff, clients and vendors

Experience with HP, Cisco and Citrix offerings a plus; Microsoft office software and technologies essential

Valid Drivers License and Proof of Insurance

Background check and drug screen required

Our compensation plans are structured as base plus commission (on your person quota plus team achievement), with initial compensation commensurate with relevant experience.
